Landing Page

What is a landing page?

A landing page can be described as a “website” with a single page that targets one specific area, whether it is to market a new service you are providing, or to offer a discount to customers. A landing page does not have a menu tab, it simply offers information that is relevant to your target group and always has a CTA (call to action). The most common CTA is asking your target group to provide personal information like their name and e-mail address. A landing page does not guarantee a sale, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier because you know if a person is interested in your product/service since they’ve already provided you with their information. Many companies use multiple landing pages (one per service), this is to maximise their sales.

For example, a person who is interested in hiring a cleaning company to assist with cleaning after a big move, may not be interested in hiring said cleaning company for regular cleaning services, i.e every Thursday. In this case the cleaning company would benefit greatly to have one landing page for each of these two services as chances are the demographic would be somewhat different for each service.
